Aligned Myofunctional Therapy is owned and operated by Michelle Gillis RDH, AAS. With over twelve years clinical experience, I have a strong foundation in oral health. I decided to pursue additional training in the field of orofacial myofunctional therapy because of my passion for optimal overall wellness, and because I strongly believe that you have to treat the entire body. I strive to address root causes not just symptoms, and orofacial myofunctional impairments are often a significant component in oral and physical health. I decided to take my practice outside the dental office due to the great need in this field.
In my spare time, I am outdoors whenever possible! I am also a Certified Pilates Instructor (ask about adding a posture lab to your course of treatment!) I love hiking, running, and just spending time with my wonderful husband.
Thank you for trusting me with your concerns.

An improper swallow can lead to oral muscle imbalances and even choking.
